This is a one of a kind sewing opportunity where people from across the country can come together to celebrate and share their love of these beautiful machines. The love for my 'Betty' runs deep, something I recently wrote about in my book (Hummingbirds and Kaleidoscopes) where i share how my father, aka Featherweight Phil restored and gifted me my first. Share your stories about their rich heritage. Bring along your favourite projects and get ready for a rare chance to meet the man himself when Phil pops by to say hello and get to know you all that little bit more. You are invited to make my popular Stonehouse Bag which will introduce you into the world of Foundation Paper Piecing which I'm sure you will love! You will need to bring: • Basic haberdashery kit • Thread and pins • A project of your choice • Lunch - although Morrisons is 5 minutes on foot Date: 7th and 8th June 2025 Time: 9:30 to 16:00 Price: £110 Car parking is on site in a secure environment. The building is level access with full disability needs. Tea and coffee is free and on tap as is Wifi. If you want to stay locally, you can head to the local Travelodge which is just a couple of minutes towards the town. Alternatively, try the Hickman Hill Hotel.
Cancellation Policy
There is no right for you to cancel the Contract and no refunds will be given on deposit or full payments for a Workshop, although if you are unable to attend a Workshop, please let us know as soon as possible. You may send someone in your place if you prefer. Please let us know their contact details (name, address, email address and telephone number) in advance so that arrangements may be made where possible and confirmation details can be passed on. If you are booking a Course of Workshops there is no entitlement to replace or catch up on missed sessions within that course at a later date.
