Service Description

Did you ever fancy having a go at knitting but felt like you needed a little support, or perhaps you feel confused by the way patterns are written leaving you all in a muddle. Lucy will break it down for you into easy manageable steps. This 3 part class is for anyone experienced in knitting or for beginners. I will carefully teach you all the steps needed to cast on, create a knit stitch, adding stitches and decreasing stitches before finally casting off and blocking your make. This really is a start to end project with lots of guided support along the way. Each of the sessions have been planned to give you adequate time between sessions to practice your skills, coming back regularly to catch up with everyone else in the group to show and tell. You can either join me at the Hub or Online if you live further afield - please just let me know your preference. The Schedule: Week 1 - Wednesday 9th October. Getting started and understanding the pattern Week 3 - Wednesday 23rd October. Catch up, troubleshoot & social knitting session. Week 6 - Wednesday 20th November. Catch up, finishing off, social knitting, show ‘n' tell & What’s next You will need to bring: • DK Yarn - 1 100g ball or LOTS of mini balls (75g needed in total) • 4mm knitting needles • Stitch marker Price: £35 Car parking is on site in a secure environment. The building is level access with full disability needs. Tea and coffee is free and on tap as is Wifi.

Cancellation Policy

There is no right for you to cancel the Contract and no refunds will be given on deposit or full payments for a Workshop, although if you are unable to attend a Workshop, please let us know as soon as possible. You may send someone in your place if you prefer. Please let us know their contact details (name, address, email address and telephone number) in advance so that arrangements may be made where possible and confirmation details can be passed on. If you are booking a Course of Workshops there is no entitlement to replace or catch up on missed sessions within that course at a later date.
