Floating Lanterns

Floating Lanterns was exclusively designed by Jeanette Gustafson from Netty Made to showcase the launch of Lucy’s debut fabric collection ‘Meditations on Japan’.
Inspiration for this quilt was drawn from the calming nature of the lanterns that were painted then drawn into fabric as part of a cohesive 5 piece collection. The muted olives and corals complete the silence of the quilt, which could easily be replaced with a striking green or fuchsia to waken up the senses
The quilt includes 2 size options from the large one seen that easily covers a king sized bed down to a smaller lap quilt size that can be made up in just a few days with its simplified design making it ideal for a beginner.
Both are pieced together making up 5 blocks, 1 of which is a solid colour.
