This pattern includes instructions and the pattern pieces you will need to sew and make a practical and fully lined medium sized handbag that can be customised with contrasting slip pockets on the front.


The Elizabeth Bag is big enough for a laptop when extended, and closes in on the side panels with magnetic clasps to give the bag shape. There is an option to add an internal zip pocket, and includes additional internal slip pockets for organisation.

Finished handbag size:

30cm tall (not including straps)
46 cm wide when expanded
36cm wide at the top when closed at the sides
Sewing skill requirement: 

Easy to Intermediate (Topstitching, basting, sewing through multiple layers and using bag fasteners)
Internal Zip Pocket is intermediate, but optional so can be omitted, and a full instructional video for all steps is available via my youtube channel
